Overview
Modern power distribution systems are facing unprecedented challenges—from increasing digitalisation to the demands of safety, reliability, and sustainability. This webinar brings together leading experts to share practical strategies and innovations engineers can apply in their work.
We’re pleased to welcome Megan Meteyard, Technical Director – Electrical Engineering at AECOM, who will present real-world case studies of how clients are addressing these challenges. She will be joined by industry specialists who will discuss the latest advances that are strengthening resilience across sectors such as Data Centres, Oil & Gas, Mining, Healthcare, Utilities, and Water/Wastewater.
What you’ll learn:
- Safety in high-risk environments – Tools and approaches that minimise personnel exposure.
- Arc flash detection – Why rapid response technologies are critical to system reliability.
- Cybersecurity in electrical systems – Protecting both people and data in digital environments.
- Predictive maintenance – Leveraging data and insights to reduce downtime and improve efficiency.
This is a must-attend session for engineers looking to stay ahead in the rapidly evolving field of power distribution and electrical engineering.
Who should attend
This session is designed for professionals working in data centres, healthcare, mining, oil & gas, water and wastewater, and utilities, particularly those in the electrical and mechanical engineering disciplines.
You do not need to be an Engineers Australia member to attend.
